Our mission & VISION

our mission & Vision

We are committed to advancing Black paternal health through collaborative research, education, and community engagement. Our lab creates inclusive spaces where scholars, fathers, and community stakeholders work together to strengthen the health and fathering capacity of Black men and boys. Grounded in health equity, resilience, and cross-cultural approaches, we leverage existing community assets to promote holistic well-being across the life course.

We envision a future where Black men are empowered to take ownership of their reproductive health and fatherhood journeys. By centering paternal contributions in maternal and child health, we aim to foster healthier families and communities. Our work strives toward a reproductively just society that recognizes and supports the global roles of men in reproductive decision-making through transformative research, education, advocacy, and policy change.
